My printer prints rubbish from a Windows Test page.

Check the driver matches the emulation selected in the menu.
Make sure the cable is:
- IEEE 1284 compliant
- less than 2 metres in length
- connected directly to the PC and the parallel port mode in PC
BIOS is set to the EPP.
If the problem persists you may need to reduce the parallel port speed on the printer.
